Saúde Psicológica e Bem-estar 2024

Saúde psicológica e bem-estar 2024 | OSPBE/DGEEC 251 Adults in the School Ecosystem TEACHERS OR EDUCATORS In contrast to the findings for students, which suggests that the percentage with psychological vulnerability went from 1/3 in the 2022 study series to ¼ in the 2024 series, the situation of teachers remains unaltered, with 1/2 reporting weaknesses in terms of psychological well-being. As far as geographical regions are concerned, it was not possible to replicate the analysis made in the previous series due to the poor take-up of several regions and the small number of teachers who took part in the study compared to the 2022 series. With these limitations in mind, the results obtained suggest that progress has been made in identifying, implementing, and monitoring actions to (i) promote psychological health and a healthy school environment, (ii) promote socio-emotional competencies, and (iii) the well-being and quality of life of the different players in the school ecosystem, (iv) improve psychological health and well-being in pupils (only possible to compare older pupils-second cycle, third cycle, and secondary) and maintain the situation of teachers at this level. The results suggest that the recommendations made in the 2022 report have impacted the school ecosystem, and teachers report a relatively positive relationship with management and the school environment and a broad application of programmes to promote socioemotional competencies in the school environment. These results make it possible to consider the relevance of some of the previous recommendations, with a particular focus now on their continuity, raising awareness of self-care for teachers, organising training for the "whole school", and based on functional and transformative aspects (workshops with a direct link to practice).
